Timing Belt

When should a timing belt be replaced and what is an interference engine?
The chart below is taken from the Autodata Timing Belt Replacement and explains when the timing belt should be changed. It also tells if the engine is an interference engine which will cause MAJOR engine damage if the timing belt, idler pulleys or water pump fail.
